SOURCE MUSIC, a label under HYBE , has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Min Hee-jin, who is the CEO of another label under HYBE, Ador.

According to South Korean media, Source Music, Le Sserafim’s managing label, recently filed a lawsuit against Min Hee-jin in the Seoul Western District Court. They are seeking approximately 500 million won in damages for defamation, business obstruction, and insults.

The lawsuit focuses on statements made by CEO Min, including claims that she personally selected the members of New Jeans, that HYBE unilaterally broke its promise to debut New Jeans as its first girl group, and that Source Music neglected the New Jeans members.

Source Music argues that Min’s comments fueled rumors suggesting that Le Sserafim received special treatment at the expense of other groups. They assert that these statements have caused significant harm, including a surge of malicious comments.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Min Hee Jin was summoned for the initial round of police questioning regarding charges of ‘breach of trust.’ The interrogation lasted approximately eight hours.
