BABYMONSTER announces their official fandom name.
On July 27 KST, YG Entertainment announced through a video posted on their official blog that their rookie girl group BABYMONSTER has confirmed their first official fandom name as “MONSTIEZ.”
This name combines the “MONS” from “BABYMONSTER” with the English word “TIES,” emphasizing the close relationship and bond between BABYMONSTER and their fans.
“MONSTIEZ” symbolizes the close relationship where members and fans can rely on and support each other. Alongside the announcement, YG Entertainment also revealed the design for the official light stick. The light stick features a red horn symbolizing BABYMONSTER atop a white hemisphere and is scheduled for official release soon.
